This module includes a cover folder with maps and a complete description booklet to form a ready-made scenario for DUNGEONS & DRAGONS® Basic Set. It has been specially designed for use by beginning Dungeon Masters so that they may begin play with a minimum of preparations.

The Keep on the Borderlands is one of the defining classic D&D adventures, sending novice adventurers from a fortified outpost into the nearby Caves of Chaos, where rival monstrous factions occupy a network of dangerous lairs. Particularly cool thing about this module is the keep itself, being a home base, while the caves offer multiple routes, competing enemies, opportunities for negotiation, and plenty of room for player-driven decisions. It’s not just a murderhobo fest, there’s much, much more. Also, B2 is a remarkably adaptable foundation for a larger campaign.
